Terms of use

These terms cover use of this website and the case intake form. They are not the terms of an engagement: those are agreed in writing before any work begins.

    What this site is

An description of what Chain Fraud Watch does and a way to report a case. The content is general information about our work, not a recommendation about your situation.

  2. 2/

Submitting a report does not engage us

Sending the form starts a conversation and nothing more. No duty is owed to you, and no confidentiality obligation beyond the privacy notice arises, until we have agreed a scope in writing and confirmed we are acting.

  3. 3/

    No promise of recovery

We do not guarantee that funds will be traced, identified, frozen or returned. Much depends on how the funds moved, how fast they were reported, and decisions taken by parties we do not control. We tell you plainly when we think the work is not worth paying for.

  4. 4/

    Not legal or financial advice

Our reports establish facts about the movement of funds. They are not legal advice, not financial or investment advice, and not a substitute for a lawyer, an insurer, or the police in your jurisdiction.

  5. 5/

    What you send us

You confirm that what you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are entitled to share it. Do not send private keys, seed phrases, or passwords: we never ask for them and anyone who does is not us.

  6. 6/

    Acceptable use

Do not use the intake form to submit false reports, to attempt to have someone investigated without cause, or to send automated or bulk submissions. We may decline any case without giving a reason.

  7. 7/

    Liability

The site is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

  8. 8/

    Changes

These terms may be updated. The date above shows when they last changed, and the current version always governs use of the site.
