An investigator reads this, not a sales team. Theft, a scam operation, or funds you think are laundered. If it is recent, say so in the first line.
Recent cases are triaged first, because a trail is easiest to follow while it is fresh.
If the work won't get you anywhere useful, we say so and charge you nothing to hear it.
Individuals are priced per case, platforms can retain us, and the scope is agreed in writing before anything starts.
